Term Definitions

- Classes meet in person on campus; specific days/times/location
- Online - Asynchronous
- Classes meet fully online; no specific days/times/locations

- Classes meet via Zoom or other resource; specific days/times
- 混合型-网上 Asynchronous & Online Synchronous (Zoom)
- A portion of the classes meet synchronous via Zoom or other resource and a portion is asynchronous online; there will be some specific days/times
- 混合型-网上 & 面对面
- A portion of the classes meet in person on campus and a portion is asynchronous or synchronous online; there will be some specific days/times/locations
- 混合型-网上 Asynchronous & 在人
- Classes meet in both asynchronous online and in-person modes; specific meeting times and locations for in-person portions of classes are listed with each course
- 混合型-网上 Synchronous (Zoom) & 在人
- Classes meet in both synchronous online (Zoom) and in-person modes; specific meeting times and locations are listed with each course
- Hyflex
- Combines online and 面对面的 instruction. Students may participate in different ways: online - synchronous, online - asynchronous, 面对面的, or as a flexible learner (student has a degree of choice as to how they participate each week).
- Flex
- Flex courses may provide students with the opportunity to meet in-person on campus, on the synchronous days and times already scheduled, if conditions allow.
- 估算credits
- 估算credits are developmental courses for students who need to prepare themselves for college-level work. They count toward financial aid requirements but do not count toward earned college credits or GPA.
- 交互式电视
- Classes are taught live from one campus location and broadcast to one or more additional campus locations. Cameras and microphones at all sites allow faculty and learners to see and talk with each other.
Students will learn the fundamentals of skill building using Microsoft Word. Document formatting for business correspondence, reports, and tables will be emphasized. A major emphasis is placed on increasing speed/accuracy and improving proofreading skills. 没有必要. Institutional Course Syllabus

Students will learn the basic concepts, 因素, 功能, and techniques of management in organizations. Students will obtain specific knowledge of planning, 组织, 导演, and controlling and the interconnectedness of these 功能 in productive organizations. Students will develop an understanding of the basic concepts of behavioral sciences and their application to performance of individuals working in organizations. Students will study key attitudes and behavior that affect productivity. Upon course completion, students will demonstrate an understanding of the 因素 that affect performance such as leadership, 动机, 沟通, 旷工, and job satisfaction as well as a basic understanding of how diverse individual styles of interaction contribute to an organization.
